RiVeR WaLk......

In downtown St.George there is the coolest water park place. Not sure what the real name of it is but what a brilliant idea this was. On one side there is a big fountain, on the other side there is the river walk. The surroundings are beautiful with tons of space to pop a squat and watch the kids play. We took the boys there and spent a few hours hanging out and relaxing. If you are ever in St. George be sure to check this place out!!! Landen says, "this place is awesome!"

DuCk BrEaD.....

At my Mom's home in Provo there is a duck pond near by. I have so many memories with both my grandma's and the duck ponds by their homes. So it is so fun that my boys will also have these memories with their grandma. We always take bread that is stale or no one wants (the butt) to feed the ducks. Landen calls this duck bread, I think he believes that is the name and the actual purpose of this bread. He will ask me if we can get some duck bread to go feed the ducks! I love this boy!!!! The boys want to go feed the ducks all the time. So it's a good thing we visit my Mom's house often.

DaY OuT WiTh ThOMaS.....SoRt Of!

During Memorial day weekend Thomas is hanging out up at the Heber Valley Rail Road. We had taken the boys to this a few years back for Cody's 4Th Birthday. We did not have much going on this weekend but we knew we wanted to get out of the house and do something fun with the boys. Matt told them he had a surprise for them and we had them jump in the car. We first stopped at the gas station and they were so excited, they thought this was their surprise! Guess we could have stopped the trip right there! We all got a treat then proceeded to head up the mountains. Cody was getting very annoyed that we would not tell him what the surprise was. He kept trying to figure it out. When he would see something that he thought maybe would be it, in a put out voice would say, "is this the surprise?" Jeez boy, come on and lighten up a little! This is supposed to be fun! We finally arrived and Matt parked right next to the train tracks. See we didn't really have tickets for the train, we just thought it would be fun to watch it drive by and be right there to see their cute little faces light up! The timing was perfect, we got the boys out just in time to for them to hear that a train was on the tracks, this alone would have been very exciting. They love to see the trains in Lehi. We were so close that Cody was getting a little scared and kept trying to get back in the car, he still didn't know what he was about to see and we didn't want to tell him. We turned on the video camera to see the look on their faces, priceless! We then went over to the station where they were holding the Day Out with Thomas event, you have to have a pass to do anything but we were able to walk around, take pictures, see the trains, etc. It was really fun and FREEEEEE!

WhAtS yOuR bOwLiNg NaMe???

It has been awhile since we had been out. We have spent the past month SICK! So we took the kids bowling at Jack & Jill bowling lanes. They were so excited. They have been asking to do this for awhile now! I guess it was finally time. So of course we all have our sweet bowling names. Matt & I have never played with our real names. We always have our bowling names and rarely use the same name twice. This time, Matt is SloppyJo, Cody is CodyBomb, Landen is LandoBando and I am ShellyBelly. Crew was there to cheer us on! The boys did great. They both started out using the ramp but after a few times Cody was done with that. He had some good bowling moves too! I think he will be quite good at this sport. The boys tied with a score of 95. I came in last with 89 and Matt was like 180. I really can't remember. How bad is that!!!
