Down at the BoOnDoCkS....

Fun center that is!

For Cody's never ending 8th birthday
Matt took the boys to Boondocks.

I had originally planned on going to Lagoon.
Mostly because I wanted to go. :)

Matt was able to convince us all
to change our minds.

At the last minute I decided to stay home
with Crew, he can be pretty ornery and
difficult to deal with these days.
Was not in the mood to do battle with him.

I am sure the guys had way
more fun without us anyway.
:)

The go-carts were the big fav of all the boys.
Landen couldn't drive these but was able
to go with Matt on the big carts.

After the carts they hit the mini-golf course.

I heard Cody was not excited about this.

He wanted to stay at the go-carts but as soon

as they started their game he was loving it.

Alex even got a hole on one at some point!!

Landen was the only one who could

play in this indoor play area.

He thought it was pretty cool.

Totally reminds me of FunTastic Nathen's.

Any of you remember that magical place? LOL

Their other favorite activity was these bumper boats.

They even were equipped with water guns! Nice.

Landen could spray the boys with this
water gun from the side. Payback!!!

They did other games and activities too
but Matt didn't take pics.

I do need to mention how happy
I am that Matt took all the pics he did.
This is very out of character of him
but he knows how much it means to me.
So sweet...thanks baby! :)

FiRsT DaY oF SuMmEr

Tuesday, June 21st was the mark of

Summer Solstice.

I absolutely love this time of year.

I think I say that for every season though!

The best part about this first day of SUMMER was

that we actually had SUN to celebrate with!!!

The kids had a blast spending the day outside.

We played with friends, 

ate Popsicles, 

rode bikes & scooters,

 went for a morning walk, 

played at the park,

worked in the garden,

mowed the lawn,

 colored the driveway 

with sidewalk chalk,

 and most fun of all played in the

  water!

Cody celebrated his 8th birthday yesterday.

He started the day off with a Father/Sons 

breakfast at IHOP. 

Followed by a trip to Target to pick out

his own present just from Dad.

Here is what he picked...

He spent the day building Legos

 and playing with friends.

He got some cards in the mail from

Grandpa's & Grandma's.

He got more MoNeY!!!

So...we of course had to go spend it.

Which means more Legos.

I said he could have his friend Alex

join us for dinner and a sleepover.

We went and got movies and pizza.

Silly Boys!!!

His neighbor friends Ty & Paige

gave Cody this cute hat.

I might have to steal it! :)

This Friday we will be taking 

Cody and a friend to Boondocks 

for his Birthday also.

This was in exchange for a 

friend party at home.

 Mama was not feelin it this time.

;)

The next celebration we will be 

having is on Aug. 6th  2011

on this day Cody will be baptized.

So very exciting for him

and our family.

I love my Cody Bomb so much.

Words can not express the love I have

for him. He is such a special spirit in

our home. My life changed forever the

day he came into this world; 

and I am so Thankful for that gift.
