I gOt ShOtS!

Landen had his two year check-up. It all went well. I must brag because he is way above average in speach and motor skills! But way under in weght and okay on height. He weighs 23lbs that puts him in the 5th% and 33in tall-25%. He is just a little shaver. He also had to get 4 shots. He was not happy about this. As soon as the nurse came in the room Landen was saying, "No mommy, No! I wanna go home. No mommy!" It was heartbreaking. Then after he got the shots he told me that it hurt and he doesn't like shots. The rest of the day he kept telling me he got shots. He is doing much better now!

LaNdEn TuRnS TwO!!!!!!

Yesterday Landen celebrated his 2nd Birthday. Time sure does fly. So before his birthday I asked him if he wanted a Sponge Bob party or Thomas party just to throw a few out there. He wanted none of the ones I suggested but told me he wanted Bob the Builder. I didn't know how hard this would be to find a cake pan for good 'ol Bob. I always make my boys cakes. So I searched the Internet. Everyone was trying to rip me of. I guess you can no longer get this pan. It is retired. But I did find one for $8.00 on eBay. I have not made it yet. We are waiting for G&G Southwick to come back up from St. George so we can celebrate. So hurry up! Gosh! Landen has received lots of presents. In the photo you can see his awesome castle. According to Cody we have been waiting for this forever! This castle that G&G Taysom got for him has been a hit so far. They will not stop playing with it. G&G Southwick got him church clothes. Very cute. His Great G&G Ferrin sent him some fun presents in the mail. He got clothes, crayons and coloring book. So thoughtful of them. Trevor and Shari gave him The King from the movie Cars. I know I have probably left someone out. But thank you everyone for all your gifts and Birthday wishes!

OvEr ThE HiLL!

Yes! I turned 30 yesterday. I really just can't believe it. Very strange. I never thought I would be this old. So Matt and I are now in our THIRTIES. He turned 30 two weeks ago. It was a pretty mellow day. Matt had to work. I just stayed home with the boys. That night Matt came home with a cake for me. I wanted one with tons of frosting. He also took me to Cafe Rio, gave me flowers, a gift card to one of my fav stores and a bunch of organizing stuff from IKEA. So today my BFF Loni took me out to Lunch and we hit the mall. Spent all my money and gift card in about an hour. It was great fun! It's all downhill from here. Right???

MeEt RoXy! OuR nEw RaT! YeS, I sAiD rAt!

So the boys got this idea they wanted a pet mouse. I can't really recall what started all this. I was not the one that put the idea in their little heads! I know what you are thinking MoM!!! We went to PetSmart and bought 2 really cute mice. Cody named his Leafy. Landen named his Mickey Mouse. These mice were no fun. They just slept and hid. So I took them back. And we got Roxy! I found her on KSL. She was $10 cage included. She is 1 yr. old and albino. She is really fun. Like having a cat actually. She loves to play and snuggle. The boys love her too. They always want me to get her out of the cage!
