32 WeEkS....

I have made it to 8 months and I am still alive! My ribs are killing me, I am so very tired, feeling sick again every morning, will never take fish oil pills again, my feet are swelling, getting very fat, can't get comfortable, have to pee every 5 minutes, want to eat everything and very anxious to meet thus little one! Besides all that I am so thankful to be pregnant. I would rather deal with all these little annoying things than not be able to have this little babe. I love having babies so much. The newborn stage is my absolute favorite. I don't think this is my last baby. I really hope anyway! If money was not an issue I think I would keep on having kids. But since it is an issue I don't want to kill poor Matt off with all these mouths to feed! So 4 kids is kind of our plan! We will see what happens! I may be in over my head with three boys!

MuD bAtH...

Today we went out to get yard work done before Cody had to go to school. I decided it was a good day to work on the front yard since it wasn't so hot out. But in the front they don't have much to do and I don't want them out in the street. So I let them dig in one part of my garden that I usually don't feel like I have to worry to much about. I was working away and they were being so good. They were just digging and looking for bugs and so on. Then I hear Cody say to Landen that they should make concrete. I still feel like things are under control and I am going to let them do this. They were making it in a bucket. ThEn!!! I look over and they have a full fledged mud hole going on and are covered in mud. They are throwing, jumping, squishing, spreading mud everywhere. They had it all over them, all on the side of the house, down the front stairs, in the grass. Seriously everywhere! My sweet neighbor came out to visit me and bring me some water while this is going on. She tells me she wishes she would have been more relaxed like me when she was raising her kids. She says I am such a fun mom and loves watching me with my boys! I am thinking.... if she only knew! I am not the cool mom that lets my kids do this. I hate the mud. They are lucky she came over. That is the only reason I am not yelling at them. She did however give me a different perspective on this. Also reminded me how fast they grow up and these will be precious memories. So I got my camera out and made a memory of it instead of freaking out and ruining the moment! I am glad I did. It was pretty cute and funny after all. It also just washes off with water!!!! Imagine that!

SuNdAy DiNnErS uP tHe CaNyOn...

So this past few weeks we have been heading up Provo canyon for dinner with the family. We have quite a group. We meet Dan's family up there along with ours. All my pictures are usually on my mom's camera so I never have any to blog with. We have so much fun with our get togethers. It will be sad when the season is over and we can no longer go up there. My Mom has been perfecting the hobo dinners. They are so good! Then this past weekend we had yummy hamburgers. The meat is from Dan's sisters farm. So this is the real thing baby! No crap meat here. So good. I also made Banana cake for dessert. Yum!!!! This Sunday we found the coolest camp site. We were totally secluded. We were right next to the river. Trevor made us a great fire. The boys loved playing in the river. We were also by a large grassy area. Matt took the boys over there and had a good game of Frisbee going. Cody has gotten very well at this. Anyway. This has been a blast for our family. The boys cannot not wait to go again next weekend. Thanks Mom for all your hard work putting these dinners together! Sorry about the many pictures. I even held back. There are so many I love.

FiRsT dAy oF KiNdErGaRtEn...

Today was the big day we have been waiting for. Cody has been so excited to start school. Last year when school started he asked me to tell his friends that he was in school too! Most of his friends are in first grade this year. Okay back to the first day! Cody is in afternoon kindergarten. His teacher is Miss Lindberg. She is really sweet and cute. Cody really likes her. He loves his class room. He sits at a table with all girls. I never saw any boys at his table but he says one does sit there. When we were walking to school Cody was a few paces ahead of us. He says to me "do you know why I am walking so fast? Because I am so excited!" And he was. When we got to school he went right in his class room. He remembered what number to hang his back pack on. Went to his desk and was ready to get to work. He didn't even seem to care that I had to leave. I had to ask him for a kiss and a hug. Then I had to try and get Lando out of there. He wanted to stay just as bad. When I went to pick Cody up he was so cute and so excited. He said he had so much fun and can't wait to go back tomorrow. Landen still does not understand why he can't just go too. He tells me that all he wants to do is just color! I said you can do that at home. He told me no, he wants to do it at Cody's Elementary school. His exact words!

CoLoRaDo GeTaWaY...

This post is about a week late. But better late than never. Last Friday we took a very spontaneous trip to Colorado. We have been wanting to go since January. Since school starts tomorrow I decided it was now or never. So it took a little convincing with Matt. He does not care for spontaneity. I on the other hand thrive on it. Anyway. We pulled it off. Matt was able to get Monday and Tuesday off. We left about 9pm Friday. Matt didn't even get home until 8pm. Poor guy. Put in a whole day of driving then I make him get in the car and do another 9 hours! I did stay up with him though! I also helped drive. I know he hates it when I drive. He says he can't sleep or relax. Whatever! I have never had a ticket EVER! He has had several and seems to get pulled over on a regular basis. Okay moving on...we drove to Winter Park first. My Dad has a cabin up there and wanted us to come spend some time with him. We arrived about 6am. Ouch! Matt and I handed the kids off to my Dad and we went strait to bed. We only slept until 9am. We didn't want to waste the day sleeping. The boys had so much fun working with Grandpa on the tractor. They knocked down trees and dug up stumps. Matt even took a turn on the tractor! There was a festival going on in Winter Park so we went and checked it out, had lunch and stayed for a lumberjack show. After all that we loaded up the car once again and headed for Denver. Matt's parents had no idea we were coming. We wanted to surprise them. We parked our car on the next street and walked the boys over to the door. Matt and I hid while the boys rang the doorbell and stood there waiting. Our nephew Jake answered and yelled out "Cody and Landen are here!" This surprised the others at home. They thought Jake was kidding or something. So they were totally surprised to see us all standing there. It was so fun. We stayed until it got late just talking and letting the kiddos play. This was all Saturday. So Sunday morning comes around and I am so exhausted and feeling sick I can't do anything. We had planned to attend church with Matt's family but we never made it. That afternoon, after we laid around all morning! We headed to Brighten to visit my cousin Carissa and her husband. They built the cutest house out there with the biggest backyard. Holy cow! I was jealous. We stayed for a couple hours just talking and kids loved playing out back. We then headed home for dinner with Matt's family. We stayed late again. The boys had a blast with their Colorado cousins! Monday we ran some dumb errands. Wasted time driving around to accomplish nothing! Finally we made it to Taysoms. We had lunch with Elly and Jamie at Goodtimes. We do not have this fast food joint in Utah and this was our fav place to eat when we lived out there. So for 2 1/2 years I have been craving this! It was so good! Goodtimes! Goodtimes!!! Then Elly, Jamie and I went shopping for a few hours. It was so fun just hanging out with the girls. Jamie is preggo too and a month ahead of me. So we did some baby shopping and robe shopping for the Hospital. Cute robes are so hard to find. I guess it is the wrong time of year or something? That night Matt went out with his friends that he has not seen for awhile and Cody spent the night at Tayoms. So it was just Landen and I at my Dad's. We had a family dinner and Roberta came over with Trevan. It was a really fun evening. The next morning we went back to Taysoms. Let the boys play as long as we could. Moinca my SIL gave Matt a much needed massage. Then we hit the road. We made it back safely with no trouble. I am so glad we got to go on this trip. It was quick but perfect. I hope our next trip over will not be in 2 or so years! Also my pics are way out of order. And for two days of the trip my camera was dead. So Dad, Elly and Carissa you guys need to send me copies of all the pics you got!

GiRLs NiGhT...

Last night a bunch of us neighborhood girls got together and went out to the movies. We went to the 10pm showing of Mama Mia! This was the cutest movie. I loved it. It was so nice to get out and do something with no kids and just the girls. I was worried about being able to stay awake. But I don't think you could fall asleep in that movie. Just in case though I had my Diet Dr. Pepper, cinnamon bears and Dots. I was ready! I hardly touched my soda. Didn't even open the Dots and had a few bears. Good for me! So if you have not seen this movie I suggest you round up your girls and go see it. Leave the men at home!

Last night a Birthday Celebration was held in honor of my cousin Sinda. This was her 21st Birthday!! We all got together at my Aunt Jorjana's home in Draper. We had a nice home cooked dinner with a really yummy salad. After dinner if you saved enough room we had a cake that was to die for! It is from a new store in Sandy called Nothing Bundt Cakes. It was Red Velvet with chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting. It was a beautiful cake. And sooooo good! I think I had two pieces. I'm not sure though! Who is keeping count anyway? Sinda then opened her presents. She received house hold items for her dorm and a new bedspread. We then all ended up in the basement playing Rock Band. It was a great evening. I love getting together with these guys! They are a fun group!!! Happy Birthday Sinda! Thanks for letting us crash your party! Also I know the pictures are not the greatest. My aunt has an awesome camera and got some great pictures of us all. I am hoping to obtain copies of these! Hint! Hint!!!
