I got a phone call today around noon from Fetal Diagnostic Center and they had awesome news for me. All looks well with this little one. And this little one is a BOY! I am super excited. I love my boys and am thrilled to have another one join our family. Now we just have to wait for him forever to make his debut!

TeSt DaY...

Yesterday I had my C.V.S. test. (stands for Chorionic Villus Sampling) They take a sample of cells. It is always done early in the pregnancy. I have had it done with my two boys. I never had any complications but is still very scary. There is a small risk of miscarriage and limb deformities. My procedure was done transabdominally. They go through my belly with a huge needle. About 8 inches long and pretty thick. They do numb your skin but that is it. I prefer this way. They also do this vaginally and I really hate that. It still really hurts and is no fun. Everything went well. But is still very draining emotionally and physically. I just wanted to go home and get in bed. I will have my results back by Thursday. The one fun upside to all this is I get to find out the sex this early on. So I can't wait for that. Also lets all hope and pray for a healthy little babe!

AnOtHEr WeEk GoNe...

So last night I put together a big ol' post and posted it. So you would think all is good. I went to edit a word on the post and lost the whole thing. VERY FRUSTRATING! So by then I just gave up. We will try again tonight. So I see I have not posted in a week. Time just goes so dang fast. Not too much happened. So you are not missing out on much. The weekend was much more exciting. Saturday I got to spend the day watching my sweet little nephew Thaxton. He is the cutest little guy. It was Trev and Shari's anniversary so of course we offered to take him. And we did, we took him all over with us. It was a good test run on what a family of 5 will feel like. Cody was pretty funny about the whole thing. First he is so concerned about Thaxton and every little noise he makes. So I was getting ready to make a bottle for Thaxton and he was crying. Cody asks me if I forgot how to take care of babies! Whatever Cody! Then later that evening we are driving to Jeremy and Alisa's for our weekly game night and Cody tells me that babies sure are a lot of work! I asked why he thought this since he really did not do much for Thaxton. He says cause they cry all the time! Just funny stuff. It was fun for our family and to see the boys interact with a new little baby. Sunday we had a big Sunday dinner at our house. My Dad and Tammy were in town for Conference. We had them over and invited Trevor, Shari, of course Thaxton and Matt's little brother Justin. We had a full house and it was very cozy at my tiny dinning table. But good times never the less! After dinner my Dad broke out the Black Jack table and we had a blast playing. Trevor won the pot both times. He went home with an extra 8 bucks in his pocket! Woo!Woo!

SuNdAy NaPs ArE tHe BeSt!

Every Sunday our family seems to get the best naps in. Why is this such a great day for napping? I get some of my best sleep on this day! The boys seem to fall asleep without even being asked. Are they just so bored with us all at home doing nothing? I guess. I always crawl in bed with a good book in hopes of reading for hours instead I am out in about 5 and sleep for hours. But I love it. Especially these days! Today both the boys fell asleep pretending to play video games while Dad really was playing. Cody looks so very uncomfortable. I moved him after I got my shot!

Next I have to show off my gLiTtEr ToEs......Mindy, Alyssa and I went last Tuesday for our super cute glitter toes. They are so cool. They are like gel nails or something so they last for months. Perfect for me since I never feel like even doing my nails these days! Too Fun!! Thanks Mind for taking me!

My SwEeT FaMiLy...

We went to my awesome Aunt Peggy & Uncle Larry's home for Easter dinner. We love to go to their home for dinner. We always know it will be soooo good. The kids absolutely love their house too. Cody always wants to know when we are going back. They are so good to us! So before dinner we took some family pics and I feel like we finally got a good one. It seems to be so hard for us to get a picture that turns out. Then my camera died. So I have no other pics from the evening. I need to go and download my moms card.

EaStEr DiPPiNg....

On Sunday morning we dyed our eggs. Cody calls this Ester dipping. The boys were so excited to do this. They were driving Matt & I crazy. I had bought 3 different egg dying kits. Cody had them all open, spread out and get'em all mixed up. After getting it all set up and ready to start we explain to the boys about being very careful. We don't want to spill the dye and make big messes. Right after all that Matt drops his spoon right into the green dye and it spills all over! Go Matt-e! He was just showing them what NOT to do!!! Smart. A visual example always works better then just explaining. Well, we proceeded to not have anymore accidents. Landen and Cody were a little rough with the eggs. There is no such thing as gently lowering the egg into the cup. You just hold it above the cup several inches and let it go! But we had a great time. Matt and I did have to remind ourselves over and over that this is fun, they are just kids, it's okay to be so excited you can't even listen, and it can all be cleaned up later!

i KnOw It HaS bEeN LiKe FoReVeR.......

So I see it has been a few weeks since I have been on here. I just feel like crap all the time. The last thing I want to do is get on the computer. Sorry everyone. I know you all are just dying to find out what I am doing next! Ha! Speaking of dying our rat Roxy passed away Tuesday morning. Causes unknown! Matt and I were still in bed when Cody came running in saying, "Roxy is asleep and wont move but her eyes are open!". We new instantly that she was dead. So that was a little hard for the boys to take. More so for Cody. We really had to explain what happened and that she is now in heaven. He then drew a pic of her and just held it in his lap. It was pretty sad. I felt bad for him. But I am a little relieved to have her gone. Now that I am preggos I really did not like taking care of her. Afraid of all the germs and stuff like that.In memory of Roxy!

Well we also finally celebrated my birthday and Landen's Birthday with my family. Only a month later. So I got to make the Bob the Builder cake. That was so fun. I love making cakes. Tye and Roberta were in town too. So we had a big ol' bash!!!!

Then about two weeks ago my Dad came in town to visit. That was very fun. Except the the whole carpet job ordeal with Trevor. I am not going into that. Let's just say it sucked and all I did was stand around and cheer all the guys on. Cody loved working with them he wanted to go back the next day to help them finish up! This is Landen working hard. I guess I did not get any pics of Cody with my camera. I know I have some on my phone but I haven't downloaded those yet!
The same weekend was Justin's Birthday. That is Matt's youngest brother. So we had Swedish pancakes for dinner with my Dad, Trevor, Shari, Thaxton, and Justin. Then a nasty store bought cake. I was making him one but it didn't cook well and I didn't have time to redo it.

Those last two pics are my Dad and Cody having a wrestleing match. Then Cody was showing us some sweet moves! Heck yes!
