FuNnY nOtHiNgs...
So, I always have so many funny things the boys do or even me for that matter. I decided I would mention a few before my mind totally forgets they ever happened! One that happened a few weeks ago when my SIL was in town. We were all playing outside and we were ready to go back in. Landen had already gone into the house. And he decided to lock the door behind him. We of course start pounding on the door and yelling trying to get him to come and open it. Nothing!!! I have no way in. I don't have my keys with me or anything like that. Good thing we have a key stashed at the neighbors house in case of emergency. Whatever that might be! I called her up told what happened and she brought the key right over. When we got inside I went looking for Landen. He was just sitting in the basement watching TV. I asked him if he knew that he locked us out. He said, "Ya." Then just kept on watching TV. What a little punk! Another thing that happened just today. I was making our morning oatmeal for me and the boys. I went to the fridge and grabbed a carton of orange juice that looked just like a carton of soy milk. I didn't even notice until I poured it in the pot of oats. Yikes! What was I doing. I drained out what I could then tried to cover up with extra sugar. To my surprise the slight taste of orange juice was actually really good. The boys didn't even notice either! Here is another from Landen. He had just finished using the toilet and I was wiping his bum. Then as soon as I am done he stands up and goes running out of the room while saying, "catch ya later!" I could not stop laughing. One more...Cody was asking me how we are going to get our baby. I told him we go to the hospital and the doctor will get him out. He then told me, "no, you have to go to the temple to get your baby!" Also he is trying to earn money these days. So I give him jobs to do. He was then telling me that he is not into toys right now. He is into money! And when I tell him I don't have any money he tells me to just go to the bank. They have lots of money! Oh, ya right. Why didn't I think of that!

You are a good writer. You should write a mom's column! Your stories always make me laugh. I am so glad you are writing things down because I promise you, you will not remember them when your older.
HaHaHa! I need to be better about writing all this stuff down as well! Good job! They're going to LoVe reading it when they get older.
Love these funny little sayings! Here's an idea for you... I keep a recipe box in my kitchen cabinet with a section designated for each boy. Whenever something like this happens, I write the date and their age and a brief account of the story. I love having it handy (in the kitchen where all the action happens) and on little cards instead of in a book I have to dig out somewhere... (it makes it easier to go through if I need funny stories about a certain subject or a particular child for some reason) then I just file them back away! :) Love it!
