WaRd HaLLoWeEn PaRtY! WoO! WoO!

So we had our Halloween party this weekend. It was crazy leading up to it. I am not on the activities committee but my friend Loni is. So I went to help her out with all the set up. Things were going up pretty fast it seemed. Cody was with me and Landen was napping at home. (I live across the street from the church! So don't freak out!) Anyway. Finally went home and woke him up so I wouldn't have to worry. Went back to the church but he was a big grouch so I went home. A few minutes later I could hear an alarm. I thought maybe a car then thought maybe a burglar alarm? Suddenly Loni calls me and asked if I could hear the alarm? She was sitting out in front of the church by herself with the fire alarm blaring! The other guy who was there helping took off! Jerk! So I go over and stay with her until the police, two fire trucks and an ambulance show up. What had happened was the others guy's 2 yr. old or so son found the fog machine in a box and plugged it in. It was on for seconds before the place was filled with fog and the alarms went off. It is so loud that his boy freaked so Dave told Loni to stay there and he left. In the meantime, these firemen have made Loni the joke of the day and she wasn't even the one who did it. So Like an hour gets wasted dealing with all this. The party now starts in about 20 min. They still had to finish decorating. She still had to change into a costume. Get home to her family and get them ready and so on. Just a little annoying. I felt so bad. But the party turned out good after all the drama leading up to it. I almost forgot to tell you what we all were! I was trying to be an 80's prom queen. I felt more like I was at my '95 prom! I didn't prepare very well. I put this together in about 30 min! Landen was Dumbo. This was borrowed. I didn't pick it but ended up really loving it. He was pretty cute! Cody was Flounder. Also did not pick it. But he rocked it!
