My MuMmY's SpOok-TaCuLaR HaLLoWeeN PaRtY

On October 30th 2011
we celebrated my Mom's birthday
and her Halloween party.

As usual we all dressed up.
I was real original and went as a Pirate.
 So was Landen.
Our costumes were rated Rrrrrrr!

Matt went as an urban cowboy.
Halloween is not his thing.
So I was happy he at least did this much.

Crew was a skeleton.
{he wanted to scare all the princesses}
Originally he also wanted to be a pirate.
Black Beard to be exact!
When I could not make him look the way
he wanted he was very disappointed.
{tears & all}
Luckily for these skeleton jammies;
it all worked out. :)

Cody was a construction worker.
{just one of his life long dreams}
Looked more like a guy from The Village People.
LOL :)
He wore the muscle shirt my Mom made for my
brothers when they were this age.
How cool is that???

Landen wanted to be Jack Sparrow but
was okay with being just a pirate.
When we pulled up at my Mom's for the party
Landen stops me and asks me,
"Do you think I look like a real pirate, for real?"
Of course I said yes!!!
He was very happy with my answer. :)

Grandpa & Grandma were the enchanting
Cinderella & Prince Charming.

Trevor was....not sure? :)
Maybe it was Papa Bear???

Shari & Annsley were bunnies.
Thaxton was a Monster.

So frighteningly cute!

The Halloween party was as delicious as it was
 spook-tacular.
 Pizza in the shape of a pumpkin. Looking so good;
we just had to sink our teeth into. :)
Slushy exploding eyeball punch.
{the dry ice was making the punch explode}
My pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese frosting.
Shari's Caesar salad, loved by all!

After we feasted the games were on.
Cinderella had many fun things planned.

 A haunting cake walk.
Mystery Matching games.
Fishing for doughnuts.
and our funny family photo shoot.

 We seemed to have a few unexpected guests???

Crew was the first winner of the cake walk.

This was hilarious to watch.
We got some great video too!

How cute is she?????

And we can't forget my Mopsy's Birthday!
I made her a cake that of course did not
turn out how I had planned.
I almost went a bought a cake last minute.

HaPpY BiRtHdAy MoM

and here is our parting shot or shots....
enjoy  :)

“Warning, monsters inside! Enter at your own risk!”

On October 3, 2011

Our adorable lil' Crew Monster turned 3.

It was a silly-
Monster Mash Birthday Bash.

We partied with best of them.

 Mom, Dad, Cody, Landen,
Grandpa & Grandma Southwick,
Trevor, Shari & their lil' monsters too.

For Monster mealtime we chowed
down on monsterburgers & dogs.
Slurped up Monster brew.
and ate a little bit of Monster cake!

It was a monstrously good time!

Crew also received Birthday cards in the mail
from G&G Simcox and G&G Taysom.

 Each card was filled with lots of money.
This lil' Monster is rich and ready to shop!

Let the wild rumpus begin!

Annsley Jade

Celebrates
the big
ONE!!!!
My little niece Annsley
turned one a few weeks ago.

I was so excited for her
big day!

See....
I am raising three wild
and crazy boys who prefer
mud or dirt included in all
their activities.

{I honestly don't understand
why the need to do this???}

You can see why
I am thrilled to have this
darling little girly-girl
 to sweeten my life.

And...
THE PINK!
I love all the pink!

I was dying to throw her
a first birthday party.
Just needed to get my hands
on some girly stuff.

I went shopping for party
supplies and had to restrain
myself from not buying every
freakin' cute, pink, girl thing
I wanted and desperately needed!

It was a bittersweet shopping
trip to Hobby Lobby.

But I remained strong.
I left the store empty handed.
{gasp!}

I returned home and decided
to use what I had on hand.
Kept things very simple.
Did nothing like I wanted to do.
But I did make her a cake.

and naturally when making
her a birthday cake I
made it all PINK!

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!
