HaPpY AnNiVeRsArY to Us.....

Today is the anniversary of our second Wedding! Yes, we loved each other so much, we got married twice! :) How many of you out there can say that? We were first Married in May of 1997. We then remarried in July of 2002. I am so happy that we made the decision to get back together. Matt is the most caring, forgiving, fun loving guy I know! He may be quiet and reserved around others but we have so much FUN together. I love going on road trips with him, watching movies, playing games, singing goofy, playing jokes, friends since childhood, he gave me 3 beautiful boys, eating out, the best hugs, listening to all my dumb stories, inside jokes, dancing, love letters, I can go on and on! I love this guy. I am so thankful I have him in my life. He has ALWAYS been there for me no matter what!

{Above photo was taken summer 2002 and the rest is history!}

WaTeR BaBiEs.....

Yesterday we went to the pool at my Mom's clubhouse here in St.George. It was Crew's first time at the pool. He is so dang cute! He loved the water, he would sit there and splash around. The bigger kids kept splashing him right in the face with water but he did not seem to mind. I love how chill this baby is. Cody was not feeling well so he spent most of the time sleeping on the side of the pool. Landen was a little fish, he stayed in the entire time!

gOiNg GrEeN....

G&G Southwick had a tree that was dying at the top of it. Their homeowners told them they had to replace it instead of trimming the top off. So I decided I would trim the top off the old tree and try and use it my yard. I love this little tree and I am so excited to have it. I hope, hope, hope it will survive. It looks so cute in my backyard!

Here is my cute little tree now planted in my yard! Thanks Mom!!!

OuR FaBuLoUs 4Th.....

I love the 4th of July. I love the warm weather, family, hamburgers & hot dogs, swimming pools, green grass, American flags, babies, sparklers, parades, BBQ, hot air balloons, red, white & blue, fireworks, sitting on blankets, kids laughing and most of all-celebrating our freedom! Thank you to all those who serve & protect us and those who have sacrificed their lives for the love of our country.

I started my day getting up at 5:45am so I could run in the Freedom Festival 5K with Megan & Mindy. This was a huge accomplishment for me. I have always told myself I could not do something like this. It was hard, but so fulfilling! I ran it in just under 32 minutes. I have pictures but I am so ugly in them I don't want to post them! My Mom, Matt & the boys were at the finish line to greet me. It was so fun to have my family there waiting for me. We then headed to my Mom's where she made an awesome breakfast for us. SWEDISH PANCAKES!!!! Probably my most favorite breakfast ever! Thanks Mopsy!

Around 6pm we all gathered at Hal & Jorjana's for a great evening of food, family & fun! I love getting together with this group of family. You are always guaranteed a great time and tons of laughing! We ended the night with fireworks, provided by our very own pyro-Trevor!

Beware-picture overload! I even restrained myself and did not put up all the ones I wanted too!!!

CoDy'S 6th BiRtHdAy.....

So, I am very behind on my blogging. Summer will do that to you. We seem to have had so much going on and no extra time to update journals & blogs so I better get it written down somewhere before I totally forget it all!
Cody had his 6th Birthday on June 20th. As much as he wanted a party, I was not up for it. I know, I am such a mean Mom!! However, we did have a fun party at home with the family. Cody wanted transformers for the theme. I bought a cake-only because I found one for a great price that I could not pass up! We celebrated a bit early at Trevor's with the Transformer cake. We also played red light green light. Then on his actual birthday we made sponge bob cupcakes. He received many wonderful gifts, seriously he got spoiled! Thank you to all the G&G's that loaded Cody up with presents and money. Matt then took the boys to the new Transformer movie to complete Cody's 6th Birthday. They thought it was, "Awesome!"
