CrEw 4 MoNtHs....

Crew is four months old, as of Feb. 3rd! This is going so fast. I can't believe how fast time goes when you don't want it to! This little guy is the cutest, sweetest little thing! I could just eat him up! He is getting very active. He loves the jumper, wants to stand all the time. Starting to roll over, is noticing toys and reaching for them. Will babble all day long! Loves his Mommy very much. Loves his brothers and all the silly songs they sing to him! A favorite right now is the "bacon song!" Cody made this one up for Crew and he really seems to enjoy it! Loves bath time. Likes to be where all the action is. I just can't say enough about this little guy! We are so in love with him!!!

I LoVe To SeE tHe TeMpLe....

Last Monday, Matt took the day off for me. He did this to make up for not spending the day with me on my Birthday, since he was away skiing all weekend in Park City. I have been wanting to go and see the new Draper Temple. I figured if I didn't go today with him, then it would never happen! I also thought this would be a fun experience for Cody. He is always very interested in the Temples he sees when we are driving. We had reservations for 12pm. My Mom watched Landen and Crew for us. This way we could focus on Cody and enjoy our time alone with him! This entire event was very organized. We started off at a meeting house, where you watch a short film about the Temple. Then a tour bus took us up to the Temple. It happened to be a very cold, snowy, foggy day. So I did not get any good shots of the Temple. The bus dropped us off and you walk through a covered, heated maze that takes you all the way to the Temples front doors. So we did not have to be out in the cold one bit. I thought that was pretty cool. Once inside, it was so warm, and peaceful, you could instantly feel the spirit. It was so awesome. So uplifting. The volunteers were so sweet and loving. Everyone kept commenting on how handsome and sharp Cody looked! He would get so shy when anyone tried to talk to him. Cody was so cute. He wanted to be right in between Matt and I the whole time. It was a very special day. So fun to be alone with him. It is rare now to get much one on one time with the boys. After the tour of the Temple you go to another church just across the street, there you get refreshments! And can any ask any questions, if you have any. Our bus then picked us up and took us back to church where our car was parked! So nice and so easy! I later asked Cody what his favorite part of the Temple was, he replied, " the room with the big, big, ball hanging from the ceiling, not the one with the really big mirror! The one with the mirror is my second favorite!" He is talking about the Celestial room, it had a huge chandelier, that is absolutely beautiful! Then the Sealing room, another room that was is beautiful with the mirrors . If you have not been able to attend the open house yet, I recommend going. It was a wonderful experience!

LaNdEn'S 3 rd BiRtHdAy....

Today is my sweet, little Landen's Birthday. He is 3 years old! I really just wish I could make time stand still with all my kids. I never want them to grow up. At least in my scrapbooks they will be my babies forever! Landen is the sweetest, snuggly, funny, smart, witty, wild, boy! I love him so much. I have such a speacial bond with him. I love to just curl up with him. His cute face and sweet slobbery kisses just melt my heart. He comes up with the funniest things to say. He is my little joker! He is such a momma's boy! And I would not trade him for the world!

We actually celebrated his Birthday with my Birthday on Sunday. We had a little party for him at my Mom's. Just us, Mom, Dan, Trevor, Shari and Thaxton. He wanted a Transformers party. I made his cake, and it was so much fun. I love making cakes! I usually do character cakes but no one makes a Transformer cake pan. So I was on my own with this one. My MIL gave my a supply box full of cake decorating supplies a few years back. I was so excited and in cake heaven when she did! Well, I decided to put all that supplies to good use. I made my first 2 layer cake with a creme filling. So cool. Then I smoothed out the white icing, piped a few decorations on it, Bumble Bee, and a Birthday wish! It was seriosly so much fun and tasted so good! Okay, back to Landen! He got great gifts from all the G&G's Thank you all by the way. His cake, and Bumble Bee Transformer from us. It was great fun and I loved that I could share my day with him!

HaPpY BiRtHDaY tO Me....

Sunday was my 31st Birthday! What the heck! I am too young to be 31. Seriously, how did this happen? I don't feel different. Am supposed to? It just isn't sinking in. I feel like I am talking about someone else because I certainly could not be that girl!!!! It's like when you try to think of your parents as real people, with real feelings, and thoughts; you just can't! You only know them as Mom & Dad! Well, I only know myself as young, vibrant, energetic (sometimes), fun, crazy, youthful, me! At least I had a really fun day; even if that meant turning 31!

Thanks everyone for all the love and Birthday wishes that were sent my way! I love and appreciate all of you. Especially my hubby, whom I love more than anything! And Mom, Thank you for the special gift you gave me. I will cherish it always!

HaT's Off To GrEaT fRiEnDs...

My friend, Kris, is the queen of craftiness, and baking, and painting, and much more. As one of her gifts to Crew she made this adorable knitted hat. I love it. He wears it just about everyday. I am going to be sad when he grows out of it! But she says she will just make me a new one. What a great friend! Thanks Kris! Love ya!

CrEw'S bUsY dAY....

Today, Crew was on the go! It started with a little tummy time. He actually did great with this; usually this is not a favorite. I would get him on his tummy and he would sit there for a minute, then roll over. It was pretty cute! We then got him dressed, sang songs, and played. I was holding him, with him standing on my lap, he started jumping. He does this every time we stand him up. It made wonder if he was ready for the JuMpArOo! So, I went down to the basement and drug out the jumper. Cody helped get it ll set up; then Crew was in there jumping away! It was the cutest thing ever! We were having so much fun with him. He stayed in for quite some time before he got fussy. Through out the day we have put him in and he has taken to it every time! Yea! Crew is now sound asleep. I think we wore him out! Life is tough at 3 and 1/2 months!

MaTt'S BiRtHdAy...

I know I am late on getting this up but as they say, better late than never! Sunday was Matt's 31st Birthday! This is CrAzY! How and when did we get this old? Seriously just the other day we were 25. We don't get old. That is what our parents do. Not US! So Matt and I are still a little in shock over this and I am next. My birthday is about 10 days away. Then I have to go through the pain and agony of turning 31! Anyway. Enough of that. We did have some fun on this day! The night before Trevor and Shari watched the boys for us so we could go on a nice relaxing kid free date. I told Matt he could pick where ever he wanted to go eat. I was thinking more along the lines of a nice sit down dinner. No, we went to Chick-fil-a! Whatever, that's cool. My baby gets what he wants! We then walked around the mall and had nothing better to do so we went back to Trevor and Shari's to get the boys. We ended up staying and watching boring old football. Then Sunday for his special day I slaved away in the kitchen cooking all day. Seriously I am not kidding. I made him breakfast in bed. Then started on his cake. Then made him Chicken Cordon Bleu for dinner. By the time this was all over I was so tired. But he loved it and that was all that mattered. I love this guy so much. He is an amazing man, full of love, patience and understanding. And best of all; he loves ME!
