FuZz BaLL...

Landen is dang cute! Even when his hair is a giant fuzz ball! This is what he looks like when he wakes up in the morning. He does not want his hair cut. I don't know why. He hates when I try to comb it or do anything with it. When I do Cody's hair and spike it all up Landen freaks out and tells me he does not want his hair spiked up like Cody's. I really do not understand this. Cody has never cared about what I did to his hair. I thought it would be fun to let Landen's hair grow out a bit and see what it looked like. But now it is getting crazy.

My 3 sOnS....

Kind of weird saying that! I never thought I would have 3 boys! It is awesome and overwhelming all at once. Cody is on his fall break so I was alone for the first time with all 3 boys, all day!!! I would have to say yesterday has been my hardest day so far. I was totally out of patience and energy. So it was really nice today when my sweet neighbor Nikki offered to take Cody swimming with their family. What a relief to have just one gone. Then I got Landen to sleep and Crew of course has been sleeping all day. He is gearing up for a wakeful night! I was able to get some rest, recuperate a bit and get some blogging done. Today was also Crew's 2 week check-up. He is up 4 oz. and growing beautifully. His billi level is still a bit high but going down. He is still really yellow. We go back in 2 weeks for a weight check.

Today I had to bring the boys along with me. Not real fun. They did not want to listen. Finally got them to sit against the wall and they could have a sucker. Worked really good!

Crew-Today


Crew-Last Sunday

Today Crew is one week old! It has gone so fast and yet seems like so long ago. We have been through a lot in one week. He is doing so good and is so much fun! We had another appointment today to check his billi level and it was down slightly. So we are done with all the heel pricking. His heels are so sad. There is no room left for any more pricks! He is still such a good baby. He sleeps great too!

Was Born on October 3rd 2008. He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. 20.5 inches long.

This is going to be brief since I am so tired. Crew was born 3 weeks early. I cannot tell you how exciting that was! What a dream come true. Everything went great as far as delivery goes. I was up and walking around that morning and ready to go home! But Crew had other plans and ended up spending 4 days in the level 2 nursery. He is doing great now. We had a check up today. He is back up to his birth weight, got circumcised (ouch!) and had his billi level checked. He is a little high so we need to go back in the morning to check it again. We all are doing great. Adjusting very well. The Boys are so cute with him and love him to pieces. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us out, brought us meals and kept us in your prayers. Thanks to Grandmas and Grandpas who stayed with us and helped out so much with the boys and around the house. We could not have done it with out all of you!

LabOr pAiNs....

I went into to Labor October 2nd. My due date was not until October 25th. My day started out as usual. I had just gone to the doctor the day before and wasn't given any hope of going into labor anytime soon. I was getting lots of housework done. I had actually decided to tackle cleaning all the blinds in the house. My Mom was also on her way over to help out with my Halloween decorations. I was trying to get as many things done as I could before this baby was to arrive. I had been having contractions for months, as I always do. So I had not paid attention to the ones I had been having all morning. By the time my Mom showed up, I was starting to have my suspicions that maybe this was more than braxton hicks contractions. I continued on with my day. Seemed to have this huge burst of energy so I was getting so much done.By 3:30pm I decided I could not ignore these pains any longer & began to time them & write them all down. Getting very strong & some painful. All between 5-7 min apart, 30 sec. long. But still I kept going on, picking Cody up from school, running errands,then going out to dinner at IHOP. I finally called Matt & told I think I may be in labor but don't hurry home or anything. After dinner my Mom had planned to go home but seeing the state I was in decided to stay with me-just in case. Everyone kept trying to get me to call the Doctor but I wouldn't. I just wasn't sure. Even when I was pregnant with Cody & my water broke, I would not call the doctor. I am always worried about being the girl who overreacts, runs to the hospital & gets sent home for indigestion or something like that! I know, it's stupid! By 8pm, still being very stubborn, I finally called the Doctor. The recording said to go to the Hospital if you think you may be in Labor. My Mom & Matt were adamant about me going. I took a shower, got ready as slow as I could, then we were off. Matt's dad happened to be staying at our house on a business trip. Very convenient I must say. So we left the boys with Jay. Matt drove me & my Mom followed in her car. Got there around 10pm. Once there, they confirmed I was in fact in Labor. I was admitted around midnight but by then things kind of just stopped or did not progress I should say. My Mom went home & the longest night of my life was just beginning. At 2:30 I got an epidural. I was not going to wait so long & put myself through hell like I did with Landen! So, I was comfortable but extremely pissed that nothing was happening, my doctor who promised he would be there, was out of town, (I have never had my Doctor deliver any of my babies) and not one person checked on me. I suffered in silence until 7am. That was the time of shift change & all the new nurses for the day came on. My new nurse was AMAZING!!!!! I am so in love with her! She came in checked me, could not believe I had not had this baby and got things going asap. She was a mid-wife & worked as a temp. nurse part time. Even though she could have, she was not allowed to brake my water. She found a doctor in the hall & got him to come & do it. I was so happy to have her! lol So they proceed to brake my water, then things went terribly wrong for a moment. The baby came down so fast when they did this. Heart rate dropped to 50 & they hit he red button on the wall. Within seconds the room was full of doctors & nurses fully prepped for surgery ready to take me in for a c-section. I had no idea what was going on. No one would tell me. But I knew it was not good. They were working like crazy & suddenly things were okay again. I would have died to have a c-section. Guess this baby knew that too & decided to cooperate! Seventeen minutes later to be exact, Crew Marco Taysom was born. Everything ended up going great. He was perfection every way. Then...yes, there is more! lol. So, I am now alone with my new baby & my Mom. Matt went home with the boys & the nurse came to take Crew for his first bath. She looks at him & does more check-up stuff for a few minutes. Then leaves to give him a bath. She says she will come back to get my Mom so she can take pictures of his bath. Well, no one ever comes back. Eventually, they tell me he is in the level II nursery & he will not be leaving it for a few days. What the crap! He seemed fine when I saw him last. I finally get to see him. It was heartbreaking to see my new little baby in there. I could not hold him, so I just had to hover over his little body. We are not sure what the cause was but he had a low fever, some kind of infection, heart rate kept dropping and your breathing was too fast. He had iv's, all kinds of monitors, feeding tube & eventually the Billie lights. This went on for 4 days. I did the not leave the Hospital again until you were released on October 8th.

23. We can laugh for hours over nothing.
24. Since we have been married we had never lived in one place longer than 2 years.
25. We have lived in our current home for 2 1/2 years. Big deal for us!
26. I have lived in Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
27. I was born in Aurora, Colorado.
28. I have known Matt since I was 8.
29. We have been together since we were 16.
30. Someday I would love to travel to Europe with Matt.
31. I have never been on a cruise and really want to.
32. I tan really easily. So do my boys.
33. I have never gotten a speeding ticket.
34. I speed all the time!
35. I love keeping journals.
36. Have always wanted to live on the east coast.
37. I love the mountains.
38. Favorite season is summer. But I love all of them.
39. Everyone in our house sleeps with a fan on every night.

44. My favorite weekend getaway with Matt was San Antonio, TX. We had an amazing hotel room that we never wanted to leave and we hardly did!

49. I love snuggling in my bed with Matt and watching TV after the boys are asleep.
