30 MiN. aT tRoLLeY sQuAre....

Me, my mom and the boys took a trip up to Trolley Square to check out Pottery Barn Kids. They have some bedding I really want for the nursery. So we make all the effort to get up there with two boys who don't like to shop. Unless it is for them. Within five minutes of arriving Cody is crying and holding his hear. Suddenly he has an ear ache is sick and I know we need to go. He was fine all morning. We spend about 30 min. looking around. I didn't come all this way for nothing. Cody sat in he stroller the entire time crying or being really sad. While Landen was having a great time. He did freak out when it was time to go. I had to pick him up and leave the store with kicking and screaming! At least I got some fun pics! On the way home I called the Doctor and got him in that afternoon. He did have an ear infection. Gave him some Motrin. He was great the rest of the day! Whatever!!!!

FiRsT oF aLL...

I really have no idea how to do any of this cool blog stuff all you other girls do. I feel so dumb and really would love some help. If anyone would like to help me out just let me know. I would freakin' love you!!!!

Next, I had a fantastic Mother's Day Weekend! Yes, weekend. Matt spoiled me all weekend long. It was so nice. I love him so much. He is such an awesome guy. He puts up with me! I don't know many guys who would like to take that on!!! Anyway. It was a wonderful few days.

As far as my pregnancy goes...I had an appointment last week. Everything is still progressing nicely. I still feel awful most of the time. I am no longer taking Migraten for my sweet headaches. They are still killing me every day but at least I am not having the rebound headaches I was getting on that. Next he gave me Zofran for my sweet nausea. I hate this drug. It so made my life miserable. I was so tired I could not take care of my kids. I was angry all day. I think from not getting sleep. It gave me worse headaches. I just really hated my life that day. So I am just going to deal.

On to some really great news for Matt. He is finally driving again at work and working daytime hours. He has been hosteling at night for FedEx. They pulled several guys off their driving bids. Those with the least seniority. Matt happened to one of those guys. But he is also the top of those bottom guys. So he is the only one back on a driving bid! Woo Hoo!!!! Maybe we will see more of him these days!

And last but not least. Cody is graduating from preschool. I got him all registered for Kindergarten the other day. I still can't believe I will have a boy in school. Time just went so fast. I also got his school pictures back the other day. They turned out so cute. I love them. That Cody...He is so hot right now!!!!

Also here is a few random pics. The olive ones were just cute. We were just messing around. The other ones are of a walk we took up Prove Canyon on Mother's Day!

CoDy'S first real PaYiNg JoB!

So while we were in St. George grandpa Dan invited the boys to come down to his warehouse place. I guess that is what it is. He built it and now rents out the units. Anyway one of the businesses were getting a shipment in with huge crates and Dan was renting a forklift. He knows my boys and knew they would absolutely go crazy over seeing all this. So we showed up and the truck driver had just gotten there and hadn't even gotten the tarps off the trailer. Cody was sitting in the front seat of the car with me just watching this truck driver. The driver noticed Cody and came over to the car and said to Cody, "hey kid, you want a job?" Cody just sat there being shy and not sure if I would tell him it was okay. Once I told him sure go ahead he jumped out and Franz (the driver) put Cody to work picking up all the bungees that had been holding down the tarps. Cody was so excited. He did that so fast and Franz paid him 5$ for that. I was ready to jump out and get to work. Jeez! Then Cody just kept helping and helping. He wouldn't quit and Franz loved his help. In the end Cody made 10$. This guy was so impressed with Cody and his work abilities. He then had Cody fill a bucket of water for the truck engine. Then showed Cody the engine and the cab. They were a good team. Cody still has not spent his money. He is saving it. I am very proud of him. It was a great first job experience. Now he keeps asking me when can he operate a backhoe? Those are his exact words!

ApRiL rEcAp....

Once again I never update. I am sure you have all given up on me. I am just so freaking sick all the time. I just stay in bed and read and try to keep the boys happy. I am 15 weeks and really hoping this sickness junk will settle down. I got medication for all the migraines I was having but passed on the nausea meds. I just felt like I could deal with it. But it has been no fun. Anyway on to better things. So to try and recap the past month. Let's see....
1. Found out we are having a healthy little boy. We call him Crew as of now.
2. Cody had spring break so we packed up and headed for St. George. So fun! I am going back as soon as Cody gets out of school!
3. Made blue cupcakes with the boys. They begged and begged. I finally gave in.
4. Have read Work and the Glory all the way to volume 6. I love this series.
5. Been cleaning out the house getting ready for our annual garage sale with my cousins.
6. Sleeping as much as I can.
7. Working on the yard and my tan!
8. Making a baby!
9. Bought some fish for Cody and Lando. They named them Fish, Fishy and Orangee. Very Original.
10. Grandpa & Grandma Taysom came and spent a weekend with us. Spoiled us to death. Even watched the boys so Matt and I could go on a date. We went to the most delicious Cheesecake Factory!!!! YUM!!!!!!
So there you have it in a nutshell! I know it is very incomplete and I am sorry to anyone if I left out something very important that involved you but my poor brain just can't think right now. I really will work harder on posting more. This is a great way to keep a journal or scrapbook for that matter. So I really should enjoy this!!!

TeSt DaY...

Yesterday I had my C.V.S. test. (stands for Chorionic Villus Sampling) They take a sample of cells. It is always done early in the pregnancy. I have had it done with my two boys. I never had any complications but is still very scary. There is a small risk of miscarriage and limb deformities. My procedure was done transabdominally. They go through my belly with a huge needle. About 8 inches long and pretty thick. They do numb your skin but that is it. I prefer this way. They also do this vaginally and I really hate that. It still really hurts and is no fun. Everything went well. But is still very draining emotionally and physically. I just wanted to go home and get in bed. I will have my results back by Thursday. The one fun upside to all this is I get to find out the sex this early on. So I can't wait for that. Also lets all hope and pray for a healthy little babe!

AnOtHEr WeEk GoNe...

So last night I put together a big ol' post and posted it. So you would think all is good. I went to edit a word on the post and lost the whole thing. VERY FRUSTRATING! So by then I just gave up. We will try again tonight. So I see I have not posted in a week. Time just goes so dang fast. Not too much happened. So you are not missing out on much. The weekend was much more exciting. Saturday I got to spend the day watching my sweet little nephew Thaxton. He is the cutest little guy. It was Trev and Shari's anniversary so of course we offered to take him. And we did, we took him all over with us. It was a good test run on what a family of 5 will feel like. Cody was pretty funny about the whole thing. First he is so concerned about Thaxton and every little noise he makes. So I was getting ready to make a bottle for Thaxton and he was crying. Cody asks me if I forgot how to take care of babies! Whatever Cody! Then later that evening we are driving to Jeremy and Alisa's for our weekly game night and Cody tells me that babies sure are a lot of work! I asked why he thought this since he really did not do much for Thaxton. He says cause they cry all the time! Just funny stuff. It was fun for our family and to see the boys interact with a new little baby. Sunday we had a big Sunday dinner at our house. My Dad and Tammy were in town for Conference. We had them over and invited Trevor, Shari, of course Thaxton and Matt's little brother Justin. We had a full house and it was very cozy at my tiny dinning table. But good times never the less! After dinner my Dad broke out the Black Jack table and we had a blast playing. Trevor won the pot both times. He went home with an extra 8 bucks in his pocket! Woo!Woo!
