This post is all about me. Sort of! But mostly me. :) As most of you out there know I love to bake. However, I choose not to bake very often cause I am not blessed, like my mother, with a high metabolism. I would be huge! You all know the saying, "you are what you eat". Anyway, as I was saying, I love to bake. Particularly I love to bake cakes. Recently my sweet sis-in-law Shari had a birthday. So what better way to wish her a happy one! I whipped up a double layer cake with seedless raspberry jam between the layers and the best butter cream frosting EVER! I also love frosting! :) I tinted the frosting pink, because I love pink and covered the top of the cake with fresh daises. This is Shari's favorite flower. I am also a huge fan of the daisy! This cake turned out so dang cute. And by for the most simple one I have done in quite some time. I hope she loved it! I know I did!

its awesome!!!!
That cake was so yummy! Mike was in cake heaven. The salesman story was hilarious. I totally agree with pretending to be home. I hate dealing with those sales people. They never take no for an answer!
I was so impressed with that cake Rachelle, I don't know how you find the time to do all the crafty things you do, but I am glad you get to do some "me time things"
Love MOM
The cake is beautiful, Rachelle!!! You could totally start a cake business with your talent!!! and....I agree with Mauri ... the salesman story is priceless! Don't you love how 4 year-old brains work???
