aLL iN a WeEk.....Or So!

Since I last wrote a lot has been going on. My Mom took the boys to Gateway Discovery Zone. They had a blast. This place is very cool. Well worth the money. They did not want to leave. The best part was they could do and touch just about anything they want to and it's okay! I didn't have to sit and yell or constantly tell them not to do this or that! After Discovery Zone we went and had lunch at the Mall. I had Panda rc=Express. I was the only the only one who ordered it. My Mom had a few bites but that was it. By that evening my belly hurt so bad. I was in so much pain and discomfort. Then I started throwing up. It was awful. I got food poisoning! I have never had this before and never hope to again. I just wanted to die! The very next morning I had an OB appointment at 10 am. I thought there would be no possible way of making it there by myself with 2 kids in tow. But I did. I really wanted to have the Doctor check everything out and make sure the baby was doing good through all this. He was fine. I just had to be really careful to not get dehydrated and was told to go straight to the ER if I got any worse. I didn't. I was better by that evening. Then my Mom got sick! Not as bad as me. But I knew her pain and felt so bad!!!

Next I have been called as an Activities Day Leader. And tonight was our Daddy, Daughter Regal Ball. So we have been preparing for this the past 2 weeks. My partner Kris has been amazing. She worked so hard on all the props and backdrops. I didn't get any pics tonight but she took tons. I will have to get some from her to post. It was a huge success. All the girls dressed up as princesses. We served cookies and punch. All by candle light. Then we had dancing in the ballroom. A huge gold throne for the girls to sit on and have their picture taken with the Dad's. Another cool thing we did was we had all the Dad's write a letter to their daughters ahead of time. We then typed them out on parchment and rolled them up like scrolls tied with ribbon. It was so fun to see the Dad's dancing with their little girls and getting their sweet letters. I was dreading this night because of all the work I knew it would be. But it turned out great and I had a lot of fun. I am also glad to have it over with!

Today was also had Matt's sister Jamie, her husband Jason and his sister and her 2 little girls stop by and visit. Jamie is also pregnant. About a month ahead of me. Also having a boy! So we of course had to take a belly shot of us together! It was so fun to see them. So glad they stopped by. We love them so much!

A few other highlights. We had our Pony Express Days last weekend. Very fun for the kids. They love the parade. Matt went out early to get us good seats! We had a great BBQ at Alisa's and Jeremy's. Always a blast! We went very gourmet this time. Trying all new recipes. It was fun to do something so different. Too bad I got no pics of the food. It all turned out really good. Lots of very strong flavors. Guess I am not accustomed to all the fancy spices we used! Also the other morning my sweet trouble maker Landen got into the container of bread crumbs. Dumped the entire thing on the floor and was playing in it. When I walked into the kitchen he told me it was sand. And he was having a great time playing in it too! To bad I came along and ruined all his fun! I didn't freak out. I actually stayed very calm and ran and got my camera instead!

Well I have survived another week! Barely! But I am still alive and kicking! So that is good. My poor boys are such troopers putting up with me. Cody told Matt he hates it when I am sick. Well so do I Code! We hope it will be over soon. Oh, I almost forgot. We have Landen officially potty trained. He has done so good. I have still been putting diapers on at night out of fear! But he has been staying dry! Yea! Go Lando!

I am so sorry about the food poisoning. Pregnant women should be exempt from all other stomach illnesses.

Good Job Landen!! Potty training is always such a nightmare. Glad that all is well with the baby. We should really all get together and do something fun with the kiddos.
